Intensive for Teachers of Therapeutic Touch

  Nurse Healers-Professional Associates International, Inc. is pleased to announce that this year we will be offering our program, the Intensive for Teachers of Therapeutic Touch at several locations around the country.

The first of these will be located:

Schenectady, NY area starting the evening of Friday, March 30 to the afternoon of Monday, April 2, 2007.

As more dates and locations are set, we will notify all of you.

  We are responding to the requests by the membership to take the program to a variety of locations to gain greater proximity to more of you. Also we have compressed the program from the 5 or 6 day versions offered at the camps to a more manageable 3.5 day weekend. Hopefully, this will allow greater participation by those who want to learn to teach Therapeutic Touch. If you are interested in hosting one of these events in your area please contact the undersigned.

  Due to its success in the past and the enthusiastic response from both teachers and students, we are delighted to again offer this innovative, creative method of sharing teaching strategies.

  Many thanks to both Pumpkin Hollow Farm and Indralaya for hosting these programs over the past few years.

  The Intensive for Teachers of Therapeutic Touch program is intended for Therapeutic Touch Therapists with at least 5 years of Therapeutic Touch experience, and is designed to prepare them to teach at a level beyond   their present preparation. The Intensive will provide strong support to participants as they deepen their teaching skills. NH-PAI qualified teachers will serve as the teaching mentors. The teaching/learning atmosphere will be a cooperative joint venture between experienced teachers of TT and participants who feel they are ready to teach but need support and guidance.

  Applications are reviewed by a committee of qualified teachers.
